2023 ASTA Phoenix Conference Schedule
Join us at the Arizona Science Teachers Association Conference on November 2nd and 3rd to learn how to incorporate modeling into your classroom! You can visit us at our booth or attend a session in Training Room E to discover the joys of modeling for yourself.
Booth number TBD

Day of Session TBD
11:30am - 12:30pm
Session Title: Water, water everywhere, but how did it get in there? - Modeling the movement of water (and ions) across cell membranes
Presenter: Mark Arnholt
Session Description: Participants will explore the aspects of water and ion transport across cell membranes using the Phospholipid and Membrane Transport Kit© and our Mighty Model Channel Protein Collection©. 3D models of Na+ and K+ channel proteins and aquaporin will help your students understand cellular transport and action potentials in your General Biology or Anatomy classes.
Featured kits and models: Phospholipid & Membrane Transport Kit© & Mighty Model Channel Protein Collection©
